Supportive care
Our well-trained and experienced staff, led by the Registered Manager Biju Philip, work to promote the independence and freedom of residents to live the life each individual wants and emphasise the importance of holistic care in all we do. Our Healthcare services have an excellent reputation and have long since been recognised as one of the leading providers of residential and nursing care within the area for over 25 years.
Meals
Mealtimes are flexible and residents can have a meal in their own room or in the dining room as they wish. Menus are varied and favorite dishes and special dietary requirements are catered for individually.
How care is provided
Residents' individual care plans provide the basis on which the care is delivered. This will include preference in respect of how a person likes to be addressed, and what dignity, respect and privacy means to them in terms of daily care and activities.
Our care plans are maintained using a software application called Person Centred Software which has a section accessible with consent, for loved ones to send messages and keep updated.

How do we assure quality?
Wellington nursing home is an extension of our Bletchingly home and officially offers the additional beds and venue alongside Bletchingly at the same physical address providing for a total of 56 residents. Together they will be regularly inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
We are committed to maintaining and improving the quality of our service. We have a comprehensive Policies and Procedures manual, which is reviewed regularly. An important part of our approach is to obtain the views of residents, relatives and their representative which is achieved by regular reviews with residents and their relatives as appropriate. A link to our most recent inspection report can be found below. This can also be accessed directly from their website at www.cqc.org.uk
